Marist Catholic College North Shore Redevelopment
Expansion of the K–12 campus with a new Stage 2B Carlow Street building featuring sustainable and innovative learning facilities
Artea Green Ventures (AGV) provided independent environmental auditing services for the Stage 2B Carlow Street Building redevelopment at Marist Catholic College North Shore, in line with State Significant Development (SSD) requirements.
The project involved auditing environmental compliance, management systems, and regulatory adherence for the construction of a new building within an active school environment. AGV conducted site inspections, verified environmental management practices, and assessed mitigation measures for noise, traffic, biodiversity, and energy efficiency, including the integration of 99KV rooftop solar panels.
The audit also reviewed the management of construction activities to minimise disruption to students and staff while maintaining safety and compliance. The redevelopment supports the vision of a connected, vertical K–12 education precinct and incorporates design elements such as jumbo glazed façade panels, hanging brickwork, and off-form concrete finishes.
Detailed technical reports documented compliance, findings, and recommendations for continuous improvement, ensuring that environmental and regulatory obligations were met throughout the project. AGV collaborated closely with Sydney Catholic Schools, contractors, and consultants to support sustainable and safe construction practices.
Through independent verification, AGV reinforced the College’s commitment to delivering innovative, functional, and environmentally responsible learning spaces that inspire growth and educational excellence.
